Do you have a digital innovation which could benefit the NHS? Would you like focused 1:1 support from TheHill?
TheHill’s NHS Market Access Accelerator is back! After a very successful launch last year, we have expanded the programme to include 6 months of workshops and 1:1 support, including business advice, clinical opinions and a deep dive into NHS structures, reimbursement and access routes. We will also be offering support at two levels: one for start-ups with a beta product, ready to engage with the NHS; and one for start-ups at an earlier stage of development who need to refine their value proposition.
This will be the focus of our support for digital health start-ups this year, so if you’re ready to accelerate, don’t miss out: apply now!
There are two streams available, with the same application form for both – simply indicate which one you wish to be considered for on the form.
- Market Access: if you have a beta product with regulatory approval (or no need for it) and you’re ready to set up a pilot, service evaluation or first sale, apply to our Market Access cohort.
- Concept Development: if you have an idea, concept or early prototype and need help to refine the business model and determine your value proposition for clinicians and the NHS, apply to our Concept Development cohort.
“The team at TheHill brought together an amazing array of experts to help us better understand what to do next to further develop and validate our technology to take it to market. The programme saved us months of work and lots of money – a hugely valuable experience.” Ravi Janapureddy, RCube Health Ltd
Participants
The accelerator is free for UK companies who are already members of the Innovation Support for Business (ISfB) programme, or are eligible to join.
Timeline
The accelerator has a minimum time commitment for participants of approximately one day per month. It is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the Innovation Support for Business programme.
Update 30 March 2020
TheHill’s purpose has always been to improve health and care using digital technology. We firmly believe that the best way to do this is through engaging and enabling the many talented people in our community. In this time of crisis, we remain committed to supporting and developing that community and the innovations that will make the NHS stronger and better.
We know many of you have been looking forward to this programme and we already have some exciting applicants. We intend to continue with our planned programme through a new digital delivery mode and will be fast-tracking innovations relevant to the current crisis.
In recognition of the current situation, we have extended the application deadline by one month to 6 May 2020. Successful applicants will be notified in mid-May, with the programme beginning in June.
If you have not yet applied and would like to do so, we welcome your application. If you have already applied and have concerns about your availability please contact us.
